Well contacts have now been ordered, should get them within a fortnight, as Gdad said I need a toric lens. The optician told me that if I had asked about this on my last visit 4 years ago they would not have been able to give me anything of use, they can't give me daily disposables as my sight is too crap but can do monthly ones so will see how I get on with them. It's costing me nothing to try them so looking forwards to giving them a go.

Been trying some toric soft daily contact lenses and I just dont think they are as clear as wearing glasses so now discarded.
I don't like snooker glasses as I just dont think they look good but I was watching the snooker shoot out yesterday and saw Liu Song playing with snooker specs which seem no where near as large as the ones I've seen and they actually look OK.
Problem is that I can't find any similar to the ones he wears.Comment
