    anyone know why the 2 lads come in with 2 cues each?

            This was in the days before extensions as we now know them. One cue is their normal cue, the other is a cue which extends out for longer shots, can't remember if it was called telecue ???

              ive never seen other players of the time use such cues tho, so i presume they used the long cue and rest under the table?

                I think it was just a new idea and these 2 players were paid to endorse them

                  Apparently, the other cue was known as an extenda cue and these 2 players were probably endorsing them.

                  A better way of endorsing a product would be to actually play with it, imo...
