  • New Snooker Cue

    Hi!

I want to buy a new cue..15-20 pounds (shipping included). I saw some cheap ones on ebay but i wanted some advice from more experimented players. Also, if someone has one for sale i would be interested to hear an offer.

    Thanks!

    £15-£20 including shipping .......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shipping to Romania would cost more than that

Ok so i wonder if i can find a 15-20 pounds cue (without shippment then) better then my actual Rilley one (signature series).

I wouls suggest save up and when you have 50-80 for a cue you will get something decent.

well i'm happy...but everyone says it's crap...i tested some other and yea..it's not the best...but it's playable. Anyway i was just asking if i can find better ones at a low price. I'm looking for suggestions.
Well, 20 pounds are to little...maybe something in the 25-35 range.

I would repeat what others have said, wait a while, save up some more and get a nicer cue.
Remember Christmas is just round the corner, maybe mention to your family that you would like contributions to the cue-fund
                all the best

I would be interested to hear some offers:P. Used cues are an option too.

P.S: Sorry for posting this in the wrong section. Can someone please move it to the cues section?

Got to agree with the other guys here I'm afraid bud. £25 - £35 won't get you a good cue, and shipping to Romania is going to cost about that anyway, so your budget is doubled anyway.

Check out your local ebay for old/antique cues (I'm sure there would be a Romanian ebay). You'll probably get a joe davis club cue or some other club cue fairly cheap. These will be a step up on the "signature series" crap sold in sports shops, and won't break the bank. Best advise is to save up a bit more yet and get the best you can for your budget.

As Deepscrew said though, if you're happy with your current cue, why change it? Are you changing it because your friends don't like it? If so, sorry, but thats just daft. It didn't cost what theirs did, so what? If you can use it well and it feels right to you, stick with it.

                        Good luck.
If you want to play the pink, but you're hampered by the red, you could always try to play the brown!

No, i'm changing the cue because i can't play some kind of shots. Also the ferrule it's not straight anymore.

Thanks for the tips. I was just looking for some old cues. The problem is that i don't have the money to buy a good one right now and i don't see that happening in the near future. So i'll be happy if i can find an old cue but better then my "signature series" one.

Might be better off seeing if anyone has a cue for sale where you play. Put an advert up or something. The postage is just going to make any decent cue to expensive from the uk.
