confused about foul

Hi
1) How much is the foul, if a yellow and pink ball pockets while I am shooting a red ?

2)also, if I am shooting the blue and I pot the black and the white ball, how much is the foul?

A lot of people are under the misdenomer that if two fouls are committed in the same stroke, then it is the first foul that is penalised.

Section 3
Rule 11 (g): If more than one foul is committed in the same stroke, the highest value penalty shall be incurred

In this scenario, by going for the red, both the yellow and pink were pocketed. Therefore, as the pink is a higher value than the yellow, a penalty of 6 points is incurred.
