This happened in a eight ball game but could apply to snooker or any pool game.
The person shooting the oblect ball which is right over the pocket on the brink of dropping in. The shooter is also almost hooked on the ball, can barely see the edge of the object ball. Player takes the shot but to the eye it appears as though the cue ball did not contact the object ball, but the vibration of the ball hitting the cushion causes the object ball to fall in the pocket. Is this a legal shot or is it a foul ?...Thx
