Sorry, what changes all frame?
In another scenario, if a door was open and there was a sudden gust of wind through the snooker room which caused balls to move, and possibly enter the pocket, what would you do? If a player is about to come to the table 34 points down and the gust of wind blows the last red into the pocket, are you saying, "tough, get on and play the next ball2? Or what if the black was blown in a pocket? These would be covered by 'ball moved other than by the striker' (rukle 15) and replaced, but replaced nonetheless.
In the scenario we are talking about, the ball hasn't entered a pocket as a result of the player striking the cue ball, of it's own accord (vibration) or because of someone/something else. It has entered the pocket sim ply as a result of the action of the striker which was not part of a stroke. Not being part of a stroke and no rule specifically infringed, no foul can be awarded. The only equitable solution is to replace the ball on the table. It was unfair behaviour by the striker, so he should be warned for ungentlemanly conduct.
