Pool Rules

I don't play pool as a rule, but in the 6 or 7 pubs near me, they each play to a different set of rules (How many are there???)!!! AND they all play in the same league!!! Confusing or what!!
Come on you guys - standardise the rules as in Snooker and English Billiards.

Before i had a pc I bought a playstation pool game merely to find out the various games the yanks play, spose the'll bring one out for uk pool games next.

Whats the wrap for then Andrew if not to aid grip / sweaty palms.
