Almost Blind Snooker Player (Remark during J.Trump vs S. Maguire match)

During the Judd Trump Vs Stephen Maguire match the commentators mentioned a snooker player who had real bad eyes but was still top rate, his name has slipped my memory did any members pick up on his name or know anything about him.

Its amazing for a game that requires eye sight how many visually impaired players play for instance there are two world champions at least who are colour blind Ebdon and im certain mjw is as well

I'm colour Blind and I given up counting how many times I've mistaken the Brown for a Red.

I always get a comment or strange look when I send the brown down the table when setting up for a new game.

Its even worse if I'm watching snooker on the telly.
