mushroom tip

Does anyone play with a mushroom tip? What's people's view of them? Im just experimenting with different tips, does anyone know how to create the mushroom tip?

Yes muck i do , i just put the next size tip on , ie my ferrule is 9.5 so a 10 or 11 mm and shape as i want .

How do you find it plays compared to a normal tip?

It wont play much different to a flush tip but the taper will look different and the cue will seem thicker than what it is .
