tv channel telecasting snooker

Hey guys.im new to this forum.im a die hard fan of snooker and i have started practicing hard under a trainer..im from india and i want to know if any tv channels telecast snooker matches..i have tried espn tensports starsports but havent seen it telecasting any matches.u have any idea abt the channel tat telecast snooker matches.thanks in advance

I'm fairly sure that if you're in India you can watch the China Open online at:

Here's a link to world snooker's official 2011/12 tournament schedule, it shows which broadcasters have the rights to which tournaments.

And if I'm reading it right, it looks like you're out of luck. Unless someone else in India knows different?

You could always try some of the free sports streaming sites like http://www.hahasport.com/ or http://www.sportlemon.tv/

What I don't understand is, if there's no official broadcaster taking it up in India, then why aren't worldsnooker streaming it there? IDK, best of luck with your search anyway, and if you find a way to watch, please let us know.

I'm out of luck too. No live snooker broadcasts around these parts and it can be weeks or months before they schedule it into the programme, if at all...

Damien Im sure Pat will find you a good stream hes good for that and hopefully soon i will have my sisters home internet so can go unlimited and watch the streaming I would suggest though before clicking any streaming sites get a good anti virus like avast! not rubbish ones like AVG

Thanks LittleMissAlexa, I'm already using Avast! and I like it... it doesn't slow down the processing speed, unlike the majority of anti-virus software.

the only annoying thing is that lady saying your avast has been updated loudly in the middle of the night when the rest of the house is asleep and waking everyone else up

try.. www.hahasport.com ... you'll be on the home page, click other and you'll see a list... both table 1 and table 2 are shown there as a Eurosport stream

Hi,
I am a snooker fan from India and love to watch this game. The way to watch is to buy a paid uk proxy service from website like https://getfoxyproxy.org/proxyservice/ and then configure your browser so that your internet connection is routed through the proxy server and you can watch the live telecast in bbc websites. Have been watching for last three years. Never tried eurosport webcast but I am confident it should work as well.
