Was, unsurprisingly, reminded of these by the end to the Allen-Cao match.
1) ISTR a match between (I think) Jimmy White and Steve Davis which ended in a final-frame decider, White potted the final black but went in-off. Does anyone know which game it was? One possibility is the Norwich Union Grand Prix final in 1989, as Davis won that 5-4, it seems about the right year and I think it was a in a final.
2) According to Wikipedia, Gerard Greene went in-off the final black 3 times in his 5-0 defeat to Steve Davis in the 1996 Grand Prix. Assuming that's correct, does it mean he potted the black and went in-off 3 times, or just that he put the white in 3 times?
