  • Snooker Research Question

I am having trouble coming up with a research question about snooker/pool for a school research project. Does anyone have any helpful ideas or suggestions?
    Thanks in advice.

Depending on the age of the researchers:

Youngsters - how did the game of snooker start?

Older pupils - women's snooker in the 1980s and 1990s.

good ideas Tim ... I'm not a teacher but also maybe the history of the Snooker World Championship ... when did it start, where was it played over the years, who's won it most, how many frames, when was it first televised (why not before) ...

In some clubs, there used to be a game called Snooker Plus. As well as the 15 reds and 6 colours, the game also incorporated an Orange and Purple ball, valued at 8 and 10 points respectively. Occasionally in some of the older clubs, there are still tables with these extra 2 spots marked on them (between the Pink and Blue - Orange, and blue and bown - purple; if memory serves me).
You are only the best on the day you win.

I could do my dissertation of ladies snooker in the 1980s and 1990s. Specialist subject!!
