cue weight; cue maker

I´m the "proud" owner of a 20 oz cue. Many players prefere 17.5 oz ones. Which cue will be better for tournaments? Does the cue ball fail more get hitting by a heavy weight cue?
Also I am interested in to know the cue maker. On the cue it´s written "hand spliced super match MA" with a shown head of a horse.

I have been suffering with tennis elbow for some time now and have put it down to the light cue I'm using, just above 16. I'm also moving on power shots so am going up to 18 to se if it helps. But I don't think I'm ready for A 20 oz just yet.
If it's ok for SD it must be OK. Good luck with the cue.

Hi all, I've just added two oz's too my current cue , have video it but can't upload at the moment.

I have a 19 oz cue, had it specially made for me. I felt I needed the extra weight because I have a very light grip, basically the cue is just resting in my hand. Took a while to get used to it but now it's just a part of my arm.
The Super Match cues are chinese made, my mate has one, very good quality IMO.
