I wanna purchase a Master Cue and think that i will be buying one very soon (next few days). I can spend up to £200 but not i am not entirely sure which one to get - i have been looking at the Pyragon, is that any good, if not which one should i get?
    Any advice is welcome, thanks

if you are looking at the pyragon is that because of its splicing or for playability, a few very good ones on ebay for less tha £200 depending what spec you want, i have owned a couple and been pretty good quality, had a probutt and the 147
happy hunting, think you would get a better craftsman at that budget mind

Master cue would be the better option than mastercraft in my experience, i'd check out greenbaize.com, even gbl would be another good choice if going over £200...

You'd be better probably phoning stu himself or email, he knows his stuff and would certainly point you in the right direction, he also does a price beat if you find any cue cheaper elsewhere...

whats your location, if anywhere near kippex outside leeds try visiting craftsman cues they have master cues in stock plus table to try stuff, can do you a custom cue starting at £163, well worth a visit, would go for the probut i think but then i prefer a plain but not one for fancy splices although the 147 with secondary splices and no inlays are smart, again its all about what feels comfortable, i had an old riley machine spliced bought out of kays catalog about 30 years ago, made loads of centuries with it thgen spent a fortune trying to replace it just because i thought i needed handspliced big name cue, lol im a salesmans dream

haha i live quite far away in folkestone so i dont think i can make a trip to the shop which is why i am trying to be so rigorous cos i will purchase the cue online - probably from Coutts cues as well... - im currently looking at all of these cues:http://www.couttscues.co.uk/cuesandcases.html and deciding which one is the best.
