Bare wood cue

Ok so i have sanded off the lacquer on my cue. Is there any kind of oil i can apply to my cue other than linseed oil as im living in Singapore and it is kinda hard to find it. Thanks!

What kind of wood oil do they do in Singapore?

Teak oil,Danish oil,loads of stuff would do fine.

Hmm can i just play after sanding off the lacquer lol. it feels smooth and i visited many diy store and couldnt find any oil other than some lemon old english oil which i dont know if it can be used.

if the lemon oil is same as sold in the wood turning shop will be ok

Hmm, how does the oil benefit the cue? Because it feel smooth after i sanded the lacquer and will there be any problem if i play with it without applying oil?

mainly to protect the wood + its stops the moisture from your hands stopping the cue from sliding easy between fingers,you can play with it but you will be forever rubbing it down

You can get the cue oil from most of the billiard saloon here in singapore.

I'm not a big fan of the Danish oil I tried years ago. It became quite sticky not long after applying it, no better than the finish you get on cheap stock cues.
