Hello!
I've been playing snooker for a couple of years now. I now have a question regarding rules and I hope someone can answer this.
The situation is as follows: Player A gets to the table, pots a red, but snookers himself on all the colours. He then announces a colour (green for example). He misses the green, the referee calls 'foul and a miss'. Player B takes the 'miss' option, so player A plays again from the same position. He announces the green once again, and this time, he hits it and, by chance, even pots it.
In this situation, will player A's break go on as if nothing had happened, meaning he would get the 3 points for green and continue his break?
I know this situation is very unlikely to ever happen, but then again, I've seen other extremely uncommon situations before...
Thanks in advance!
