  • Question

I think that there may have been something about this in another thread but I can't find it and so will ask anyway.

I am 7 points behind with just the black on the table, I need to pot the black to force a re-spot, my opponent goes in-off, what is the situation here, do I get my 7 points and re-spot the black or what.

Thanks for any help and apologies for not being able to find the previous thread where I think the answer may have been given.

You can only make one foul on the Black.
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

If that were true it would make it a draw, have you ever heard of a draw in snooker?
No one is listening until you make a mistake!

If it means scores are then tied, it goes to a re spot

Thank you for your reply. It seems that we boobed then, your reply was what I thought should happen but my opponent thought differently and so I went along with his choice, so we played on with the white being played from the 'D'. I put the black tight on its own cushion more or less centre table and left the white in baulk. My opponent then played his shot and b....r me he fluked the black into the green pocket!!
              I shall remember next time!
