I have a quick rules question.

In last night's game, we were down to the last red. I fouled and there was a free ball situation. My son nominated the pink as the free ball "red". He then committed a foul shot. He asked me, "Is that a 6 point penalty (for the pink), or a 4 point penalty because the pink was a red".

I did not know the answer.
