  • Broken Arm

    Hi All

Just wondering if any of you guys have played snooker again after breaking your cueing arm?

3 months ago i completely snapped my humerus bone, it was a clean break and required surgery to insert a 9 inch metal plate and screws to put the bone back together.

I've been back playing snooker about a month but my game is all over the place, i know its early days still but i'm really struggling. Has anybody been through something similar that they could offer some advice?

    Thanks

Sorry to hear that. No I have never had this problem but hopefully it is just because you have been out of practice for 3 months.

I hope you get your game back soon!!

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Probably the worst bone you could have broken regarding cue sports. First of all I'd go back to basics and make sure your cueing straight, if you are then it may just be a mental blip understandable after a lay off... Sorry i haven't experienced this but all the best...
