There has been a lively discussion on the coaching thread about whether players use their dominant or preferred eye to put the cue on the line of aim, so lets have a poll of forum members to discover who does what.
Do the dominant eye test and then when down in your snooker stance close one eye and then the other and see with which eye the cue is on the line of aim. With one eye the cue will follow the line of aim through the centre of the cue ball while with the other the cue will look to come from outside the line of aim to the centre of the cue ball.
1) Does the cue follow the line of aim through your dominant eye yes
2) Does the cue follow the line of aim through your submissive eye
3) Is your dominant eye on the same side as your dominant hand no
4) Do you have a boxer stance with your sighting/dominant eye opposite to your dominant hand yes right hand left eye
5) Do you have a boxer stance with your sighting/dominant eye on the same side as your dominant hand
6) Do you have a square stance with your sighting/dominant eye on the same side as your dominant hand
7) Do you have a square stance with your sighting/dominant eye on the opposite side of you dominant hand
8) Does your cue not follow the line of aim with either eye
9) What is your highest break both match and practise 86 match, uncounted total clearance in practise
