    Probably not very easy . . .
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

I take it... it's the bridge hand your on about Alan, starting fresh again left handed will be a struggle but if you give it time you should see improvement...
Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...

Walter Lindrum lost the top of his index finger and his father made him change hands to play. With a lot of practice you can adapt quite well.

Walter Lindrum lost the top joint of his right index finger when he was only 3 years old. His father (was left handed and Australian billiards champion) taught Walter to play left handed because of the injury to his right finger (he was right handed). He could play using both hands (watch some of the old video of him swapping hands during breaks).

Walter's brother Fred was left handed but his father taught him to play right handed so it was easier to teach him the shots.

So both Walter and Fred Lindrum were taught to play billiards using their wrong hands.

Still they both practiced an enormous number of hours every day for years and years. For example, when Walter was young he would would be locked in the billiards room until he had got a break of 250 points.

When he told his dad he got a 500 break (with pride) his dad said you will look back on this break in 6 months and realise you knew nothing . . . or words to that effect. It took him over 6 hours to get out with a break of 250. Definitely tough love !! Poor young Walter didn't even get any coaching from dad because Fred was the golden child. Eventually Walter showed he was worthy of some coaching. The rest is history! He was initially only allowed one ball (the cue ball) to practice with. Dad didn't want him just belting the balls around.
