  • distance from bed to top of rubber

    I don't seem to be able to find the specification for the measurement from the bed to the top of the rubber for standard 52.5 mm snooker balls. I see the from the floor to the top of the cushion measurement in the rules, but not top of cushion from bed.

      36.5 seems strange to me.

      39.5 - 40mm
      imo the distance between bed and the rubber's lower nose is more important - I got good results with 29mm.

        rubber + support fillet + 2x cloth
        rubber=19mm
        support fillet=? (does anyone know?)

          I said about... I just took a tape measure to it and looked quickly to address this query.

          I may have been mistaken.

            here is a copy of the version from WPBSA (I think) which I have measured so I would say the dimensions would be +-1mm
            Redphex, I hope your "19mm" is a typo for 29mm
            obviously this is for full size 52mm (2 1/16") balls
            Up the TSF! :snooker:
