Ive just recently started playing snooker again, I played when I was younger but now im looking to get into the game and play regularly, but my main problem is picking a snooker cue. Ive seen that peradon are a good make and have been looking into some handmade cues aswell. I saw a place callee Dunns Cues but cant really find many reviews from the last 2 years or so, so yeah I am trting to see if they are a trustworthy seller or if anyone else has any ideas for me, thanks in advance.

Do you know what make of cue your extension came off ?? as they are not all the same fitting (damn nuisance !)
Do you know how long a cue you want, tip diameter, and weight ? or are you just after anything lol
Oops forgot to ask, a one piece cue or 3/4 ??

It fits onto my dads peradon cue and its one of the ones that the cue just pushes into and not a screw in one, I bought a 3/4 case so id hope to be buying a 3/4 cue lol. 58" length, tip can be anything from 9-10mm and weight id probably say medium weight, 18oz roughly as I seem to feel comfortable using a cue at that weight, I know this because my dads cue is that weight and length lol.

with your spec and budget any of the thai cues is the way to go.

Yeah maybe, a couple of the peradon cues are nice but ive emailed the companies to see if they are in stock but ive not been getting many replies, I was thinking that Dunns Cues might be a good shout but since there hasnt been any reviews since 2011 I think it is and that makes it seem a bit risky to buy from and cant see much else.

Why not try Wright Cues of Hull. I'm glad I did. www.wrightcues.co.uk Often Reg has special offers on facebook also.

With a snooker cue you get what you pay for if the cue is custom made to your exact specification it will be much more expensive. I'd say the best cue makers are Trevor White and Mike Woolridge but I think you'd find it very difficult to get one of their cues for £200. I have heard that Phoenix cues are very good and are reasonably priced the grain and quality of the ash is supposed to be very good Dominic Dale has praised them in his interview on YouTube
