I don't think the Parris cues look like the genuine thing - half way between a snooker cue and a pool cue. I think they are only available in maple (but could be wrong). From what WelshPhantom has said, I think he wants a 9-ball cue with an ash shaft for snooker, just spotted this on ebay (not sure about the ferrule though)...

Lol!
Not all genuine 9-ball cues are garish - the attention to detail and craftsmanship that goes into some of them is stunning. Personally, I can't get on with maple, am an ash man through and through - have never really understood why american cue makers only use maple for their shafts. Would love to have a 9-ball style cue (not a garish one) with ash shafts for 9-ball, snooker and 8-ball.

9-Ball style snooker cue?
I think Tony Drago had John Parris make him a nine ball cue, when he was playing on the American pool scene.
Think he used it when he played for Europe in the Mosconi event.
Not sure if it was jointed or a 1 piece cue though.

Why not ask a friend or family member with a Pay Pal account to pay and you give them the money/bank transfer to cover . That Meucci is back on e-bay , no bidders , still worth a shot . As I said you could always sell the black dot shaft and recoup some of the initial outlay , worth a thought.
