Ideal space between two tables

Hello everyone.

I was wondering what should be the ideal (and also the minimum) space between two full-size snooker tables in a snooker hall in terms of players' ease and space conservation.

I have not seen such a minimum distance between two tables written anywhere (anyone ?)
I would say "as much as possible but not less than 6ft"

well I would say about 6 foot minimum but if you are talking about dining tables and you include mine and my mother in law's then I would say about 5 miles at least to be on the safe side

nope, but you dont get the mither from the other tables!!!!

There is nothing worse that a compact playing area, having to wait for adjacent table's to dither about then stand right where you need to go almost every other shot.

I suspect this is the case for most of the clubs up and down the country, with space being at a premium.

got down the club last night, and there is about 7" between the long sides of the tables.
yes, you do have to consider the other players on the other table
