Tip size?

So all you experts out there, my question is,what do you consider to be the optimum tip size for best all round snooker play?

Why what size do they play with?

9.75mm is my preferred size. Can play fine with anything between 9.6mm and 9.8mm. Lots of pros play with a tip larger than 9.5mm, John Higgins for one. Shaun Murphy is at the other end of the spectrum and plays with 8.75mm I believe. Others, like Mark King, Fergal O'Brien and Barry Hawkins, have oversized mushroom tips that have to be at least 10mm.

9.5mm for me too...don't really need small tips nowadays as the balls are much lighter and the cloths are far more responsive

I find an 8.75mm is great for playing with side and for safety shots better,but 9.5 better for potting balls without much side, so 9 mm for overall play?

Preference is towards a smaller tip around the 9mm-9.3.mm

disastrous as always. . still able to pott 3 balls in a row .

Had lots of pain in my damn shoulder.
Much better in the last few months though .

Playing with a club cue which is a bit short 56". thinking about to contact Richy and beg him to make me a new one.

Always a pleasure! Like reading your posts mate. Struggling with a bit of pain myself, seems to take me half hour to get warmed up and get the motor running smooth! ; )

That's a pretty short cue, you seem to have tried many. So you a bit I between cues? Not a good place to be is it. Need to find one that you love like a brother! Lol.
