Before I started taking them I played someone and had 99 and 113 in a best of 7, and in another match that week had 5 consecutive frames with a 50+ break including a 90 odd. Now I'm taking the antibiotics my cue ball is all over the place, I over hit shots by a matter of feet, I can't feel the shots and my long potting is awful.
Got another 2 weeks left on them, don't really want to stop playing in the meantime but at the moment it's so frustrating to play because it's so bad.
it will not be the antibiotics it will be whatever infection they are fighting.

I'm on antibiotics EVERY SINGLE DAY and have been for the past eighteen months, with a change of brand every three months to prevent the buggies from getting used to any particular one. This will probably continue for the rest of my days but, I don't find that my concentration is affected. In fact yesterday I and my playing partner got to the semi-final of the doubles competition at our club, this is my third semi as I am also in the scratch and handicap singles.
It is highly likely I think, that my long term use of them doesn't present me with the problems that a short term period (a week or so)gives to someone else. I honestly can't remember if I had a problem when I first started on them.

It's definitely the antibiotics, it says on the packet that it makes you less alert and to be careful when you're driving. Snooker needs more concentration than driving.

I think that's a fair assessment Bluenose, maybe low dose long term won't affect you like high dose short term. Or maybe long term your body adjusts and you get used to them. Lastly it could be like Byrom said on another thread a dip in form and we are looking for any excuse rather than blaming ourselves.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!
