What do they use to scribe these? I don't mean templates and such, but the actual 'pen'.

I'm always amazed at how crisp, fine and clear they are on these fresh tournament tables.

I have a white pencil which isn't permanent that I use, I'm not sure if it is exactly the same as they use on championship tables but it looks the same.

pencil wears off quickly when a table is regularly brushed and napped. Most table fitters use a tippex style pen, it produces a thin permanent line.
