Hi everyone,
Just a stupid question, but how can I get rid of the chalk stain on a maple shaft ? I've tried using rubbing alcohol but the stain still remained on the shaft. Thanks a lot !

Nail polish remover - acetone. Use very little. It dries the wood

I'm a maple fan too!

I use white spirit (not methylated!) on a bit of kitchen towel and before it dries some 0000 wire wool, works a treat. I wouldn't use nail polish remover on my cue to be honest.
