I am certain I read an interview Davis gave a few months ago, where he also mentioned his future plans, but I haven't been able to retrieve it...

I would love to see him in the top 16 when he's 55, I hope he makes it. As for his career on TV... he'll be great - hopefully I'll be able to see more of him through the net in the future, as we don't normally get that commentary in Greece.

A bit off topic, as I was looking for the interview I came across this and thought it is nice, I had never seen his son before...

      Hey Nina,

...lol, x, and thanks for sharing the vid of Steve playing a game with his son, Greg, reall nice vid . And I've never seen Greg play before, really impressive...

And made me smile when Steve said that Greg is not supposed to be very good with the rest, and then Greg potted a long red using it, great shot...

      Lol.......xx

Thanks Nina - what a lovely video and they both obviously have a good sense of humour!

I think this was the article: http://sport.guardian.co.uk/snooker/...073467,00.html

'It's not going to be easy staying in the top 16 with so many good young players around and the standard rising all the time. I don't know how it's going to pan out, but now I'm looking to stay in the top 32 until I'm 55,' said Davis.

Thanks for that link April. I was pretty sure he would have been talking about his next goals, but just hadnt seen any info about it.

He's a very realistic guy isnt he. Same as Parrot now. I admired Parrot during the last Worlds saying all he wants to do now is go out there and play well, and show a bit of form. You cant say any fairer than that. Its great to see these guys when they do just that.
