Cheers Dean. So am I right in thinking that if the score was 41-33, you miss the black altogether and leave the black over the pocket that it doesn't matter and the game can't carry on because your 1 in front with the foul added on to their score?

Yes you are correct the first pot or foul on the black ends the game (unless scores are tied)
