Penalty question please

Player goes in-off whilst trying to pot the yellow, 4 penalty points awarded to the opponent but, before he leaves the table he accidentally moves the brown ball with his hand. Does this result in any additional points being awarded to the opponent and, should the brown ball then be put back where it was before it was accidentally moved or, is it left where it ends up after being moved.

only one penalty at one time, never accumulative; so only one penalty of 4 in this scenario
If the player touchs blue/pink/black instead, then it would be the higher value of the ball involved as a penalty (resp. 5/6/7).
The ball moved is not replaced unless a F&M is called and the non-offending player requests offending player to go again from where there were previously and all balls are replaced.

Just to clarify. A Miss can only be called if the striker has failed hit the ball on (or free ball) with the first impact of the cue ball. If any other foul is commiutted but the cue ball fairly strikes the ball on then no miss can ever be called.

Also, balls moved *can* be replaced without a Miss being called, as per s3.11(i): a foul is committed whilst preparing to play a stroke (but before a stroke has been made).
