Hey all.
I'm 20 and I've been playing pool for years now and have gone through 2 cues of which the latest one I still use. In the Christmas holidays I really got into snooker and I've decided to splash out on a nice snooker cue as my pool one really isn't up to much - it's a cheap Riley one - £15 with case.
I went down to the Cambridge Snooker Centre today as my mate was buying a cue (just a mess around one) and I started looking. They sell CueCraft ones of which I really liked one for £86. It was a 3/4 with an extension butt. It looked and felt really nice. I didn't play with it though.
My query really is what should I really be looking for and how much do you think I should spend? (I'm a poor student remember!!!). I'm fairly decent at snooker - I can often get 10-20 breaks and sometimes higher, but it's improving everytime I play and I really enjoy it. I'd just like a cue which I can get to grips with and practice hard with.
Any ideas guys/gals?
[EDIT] Ok so I'm not THAT decent, but I'm getting better! At least I keep telling myself that! [/EDIT]
