It's not as difficult as you might think to get tickets for any match at the Crucible - there are always returns on the day and tickets filter back into the booking system throughout the tournament. It's not an absolute guarantee of course, but I met a guy there once who said he comes from Egypt every year, queues for returns every morning and has never missed a session.

That'll be right - I only spoke to him for a few moments as we were in the Crucible waiting for play to start - very well-dressed, looked like he was worth a bob or two!
