spongy elk master tips

Hi

i purchased a box of 50 elk master tip online, however today when tried using one of the tips, and i realized that the tips are all spongy even before putting them on or reshapping them.

but thats how i bought it, thought normally they would send me the medium ones, now that i have it i dont even know if they are soft ones or medium, all i know is that they are all spongy and i used 3 of the tips, guess i wasted $50

any one can tell me if its soft or medium?

Elkmaster tips are all soft, other than the elkmaster pros-maybe you used the pro before? You can harden an elk by pressing it first (in a vice).

Hardening an elk i do a tip in the microwave for a couple of minutes, it will harden.
