With out a doubt Americans would screw it up, 100%, we cant even get a standardized set of rules here for pool, put snooker in the mix and there would be different rules in different areas(kinda that way now). Its not economically feasable either, tables take up too much space and with the economy the way it is you cant stuff enough people into the room to make it profitable, Even if you could snooker is too difficult for Americans-they want instant gratification(pool is dieing here), Video games are the future, instant gratification and you dont have to even stand up to play. shame

I had a chance to chat with Tony Drago in Duffel, Belgium at the recent European snooker championships. I asked him if there are any pool pro's who were good on a snooker table. He couldn't think of any, but said he gives pool pro's around 60 point start handicap. Corey Deuel played this way against him for cash...let's just say that he didn't really have any chance.
I don't think pool pro's could ever challenge snooker guys on a proper snooker table...no way.

Please PM me if you know of any snooker tables not on the list. As of 22 June 2009 there are listings for 224 snooker tables in 183 rooms (incl. pool halls, recreation centers, private clubs, etc.).
