  • Quickest Century & Slowest Single Shot

    Hello,

Does anyone know the longest period of time that a player has taken over a single shot. Its got to be approaching 3 minutes?!

Also, how about the quickest century - I think this has been asked before, but there was never a definitive answer. I think I saw on GSC that Drago had won a frame in 3 minutes.

    Dan.

Drago's was the fastest on TV, 3 minutes 31 I think, Alex Higgins is said to have the fastest on record in the Irish professional championships against Patsy Fagan - 2 minutes 45.

Does anyone have any videos of these two breaks?

Those are outdated, there is no single mention of anything post 1999.

Mark Selby took approaching 40 minutes to play a straightforward pink from its spot to a centre pocket – on 26, in the middle of a 52 break – in the 2006 World secon-round against Mark Williams.

There was the small matter of evacuation of the premises because of a fire alarm, as mitigating circumstances!
