  • The autobiography of Ronnie O'Sullivan

I was just wondering how many of you have read Ronnie O'Sullivan's autobiography?

  • #2
I have. He was a tad young for such a thing but typically for Ronnie he wears his heart on his sleeve throughout so it is an endearing account.

My favourite bit was where he admitted to copying the way Ken Doherty opens his mouth on the shot

      Yeah... haha

... and then complaining about this copycat thing made him play like ****

I think the part about him acting stupid as a kid was also pretty funny... This thing about the yoghurt spoon...

Only just started reading it and find it very absorbing so far. I'm gonna save the rest for my hols in a couple of weeks. Be nice to have something entertaining to read while lazing by the pool

Found it interesting to read what he says about other players!

I got a second hand copy off an amazon seller for a penny, but it is a good book and worth the retail price.

Currently amazon UK has a second hand copy going for 45p and will deliver to India for a reasonable price. Worth it if you're a rocket fan, really.

Never heard of 'inside the frames' though, sorry.

I liked the part when he was so fed up with Ken knocking in those high breaks and had to find an excuse so that Ken would leave... Ron kept practising & Ken came back coz he 4got something... It must have been so embarrassing to Ron

Doesn't he insult Mark Williams or something? I haven't read it but would like too, because I am a Ronnie fan, about how old was he when he wrote it?
