  • Your favourite 147?

Out of all the 147s that have been made, what is your personal favourite?
I actually prefer watching some of the old 147s, as it seems more of a novelty, and something that hadn't been televised before, and you can still feel the excitement.
However, overall my favourite is by Mark Williams, as he pulled off some amazing shots on his way to making that break.

I also like that one by Mark Williams against Milkins. The potting machine was really gutsy!

By the way, that decider by Hendry in Liverpool was just SOMETHING surely.

My favourite 147 was John Higgins' in the 2003 LG Cup final against Williams. Didn't he fluke one of the reds and then after he came back from leaving the arena he had lipstick all over his face.

My favourite is Ronnie's first crucible 147 in 1997, made in 5mins and 20 seconds.
I saw it live and I was on the edge of my seat. It is the only 147 that I watch over and over and over again!!

That has got to be the cutest trivia fact in the history of snooker...Aww. Unbelievably cute.

I have to say my favourite is the other maxi Ronnie made at the Crucible. Because John Higgins and Ian McCulloch came from beyond the divider to congratulate him. And because I had seen Ronnie's missed attempt in '99 and I was all at the last pink.

Steve Davis' 147 for me. And the one I saw recently, Tom Ford's - was great to watch.

Oh yeah, that black. That was probably one of the more gripping ones (especially towards the end where he started messing up on the colours), but Williams one at the crucible was crazily put together.

Andrew Higginson's 10-year professional career, which had been enacted entirely in obscurity until his 147 maximum as he beat Allister Carter, 5-1 to reach the semi-finals of the Welsh Open last year.

That was the one I really wanted the guy to get
