    How are Wildcards assigned?

    How do World Snooker decide who gets Wildcards for each tournament?

    When will they decide who the Wildcards are for the Malta cup? I know Drago and Borg are 2 of the wildcards - but who are the other 2 likely to be??

    The other two wildcards should be from players ranked 17-32 as the Welsh Open qualifiers are that week too. With that in mind I doubt that Drago would get one of the Maltese ones.

      I've just read that the full draw will be announced by the 30th Novemeber but thanks anyway

        It depends what tournament you're on about - if it's the Masters, they play a qualifying competition for one of them, give another to an outstanding player outside the top 16 (i.e. Fu) and now it seems give another to Jimmy, 'cos it's Jimmy.
