that may be a different occasion - Alex made his 155 (allegedly) against a friend of mine and she wrote about it in her local newspaper at the time -- was around 1986-8 - can't remember exactly.

Willie's detractors are always keen to point out that the film was edited because he didnt really pot everything all in one go. It was kind of cobbled together to make it look as if he did. How come alex never mentions any of this in his books??
Clive Everton has never mentioned anyone but Jamie Cope making a 155!
Ronin Hull and James Wattana have missed final black in a pro-event, but not on tv. Too many other misses to mention !

Crash!
I was more than surprised when i learned Joe's max was made from a crash bang wallop. Makes a mockery of it being official, let alone the 1st official 147
I do remember in a pro-am at ilford in about 1992 Roger Garrett broke off, fluked a red and cleared with 140. Im sure this is the only bona fide total clearance from the break off in competetion.
