It depends on a few factors. How many ranking events will there be over the next few years? Will O'Sullivan play the overseas events? Will the youbger players start performing better?

He has won only won 1 in the last 3 years so I cannot see how he is going to win 8 or more from here on in. His game can only get worse as he gets older.
Having said that the standard of snooker today isn't as good as it was ten years ago, at least not at the top end of the game.

It's debateable how much worse his game will get. Apart from slowing down a bit, the standard of his game hasn't changed much since he turned pro. He's only a bit more cautious now.

I don't think Ronnie will win 8 or more either by the way. He can win 5 or 6 more i think. But we don't know how long he'll stay at the top for.

The finals we've seen this season are as good as any in the 90s. The standard has been terrific.

Well the best possible start to the season for Ronnie. I think hes on 22 ranking titles now. Closing on Davis all the time. Maybe having John Higgins breathing down his neck in their race for titles, is pushing Ronnie further and faster than he might otherwise manage.

The two of them could push each other to get very close to The Nugget.

At 34 Hendry won just three more ranking titles. At the same age Davis won six more. He's tactically better than Hendry but not as good as Davis and I think its tactics that mainly tell the story once they go into decline, so I reckon he's probably got 4/5 left in him.

He will win at least 6 more to equal Davis. Getting to 30 will make him the indisputable greatest ever

I was right in post 14. Selby lost to King
