  • Accidentally snookered behind Free Ball

Thanks to all for answering my questions so far. Here's another one!!

If a player accidentally snookers a player behind a free ball I KNOW this is a foul!

My question is -- if a free ball (after being hit) comes to rest between the cue ball and the ball on and a player can hit a thin edge of the ball on is that a foul?

Im just not sure if a player has to be able to strike both sides of the ball on in this scenario??
Those who have been there and done that :snooker: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...oker_champions

Yes. It is a foul. The rules state you cannot snooker behind a 'free ball'. This means that the player must be able to hit both extreme edges of the ball on. Remember, to be a 'foul', the free ball has to snooker all balls that are or could be on.
You are only the best on the day you win.
