  • Freeball question

    Hi all,

Got a question about free ball.

Today at a practice match, my opponent fouls on yellow when there were only colors left, leaving cue ball snookered behind green. I nominated green as free ball, potted both green and yellow on one shot. My oppnent thinks it's a foul.

I'm not sure it's a foul, if it's not, how do you count the scores? 2 or 4 points? Green will surely be re-spotted, how about yellow?

As long as you struck the green ball first, or green simultaneously with yellow, and did not infringe the rules in any other way, it is a legal shot.

    It scores 2 points.

Green is respotted. Yellow remains off the table.

The next ball on is the green.
