  • Can King go all the way?

Mark King showed true determination, break building qualities and nerve under pressure to defeat possibly the player of the season. At times, he made Selby look ordinary. King is a man in form and on a mission to lift the World Title. After a famous victory, can the Romford Battler go all the way?

A quick phone call to The Boss should do the trick, he needs his advice for the next match(es)
    Give'em hell, Mark :snooker:

I don´t think so, but if he keeps potting and breakbuilding like he did today then he will have a chance against anyone.

King has 2 big problems standing in his way - Swail & Harold.

But he has a great chance anyway.

              King not going anywhere

Peter 'the Swimmer' Ebdon next. King not afraid of anyone. The real test will come when he has to play Murphy or Maguire because they also score heavily. Ebdon won't outscore King and he won't outmuscle him. King too strong physically and mentally. King fired up to extinguish another fiery figure. Will Jan Verhass have to break it up?

Boss - King can dispatch those 2 jokers easily; it's Swail & Harold who are the real threats.

Binghams chances of glory are going down by the minute, now King is through.

King played the best i've seen him play for many years today and showed that he has plenty of bravery and bottle when it mattered! with that performance he should feel very confident going into his next round. Playing Peter Ebdon will be even a tougher proposition than playing the likes of Selby. The only doubt i have with King is if he is able to maintain the form he has shown today as he invariably plays well in one match and then can play completly the opposite in the next! I do like the way he pumps himself up in a match and can become very animated at times! I wish him well as he's a likeable character and wears his heart on his sleeve!

                      Boss can't contain himself

I'm so fired up myself that i want them to play NOW. When do they play exactly? Friday. I can't wait. It's a boxing and snooker match rolled up in one. I'd love if King won.

Well said - and King has proven in the past he has what it takes to beat anyone on his day; he's beaten all the big names and his dream of lifting a Ranking Title is coming into sight.

Boss, do you still rate Drago's chances in the future?
