Chris Small

I always thought it was a real shame what happened to Chris Small - i have fond memories of him winning the LG Cup in 2002 - he really deserved it.

Anyone know what he's up to these days & how his illness is?

There was a benefit for him last year - I believe he's confined to a wheelchair

his benefit doo went well - Robert Osborne donated one of his cues to the event there and a few pros turned up - Jimmy White was scheduled to be there but had to cancel at the last minute.

Don't know if Chris' still coaching but the last time we spoke he had a guy coming over from Scandinavia for a couple days coaching lol. :snooker:

If you've got any words for him I'll pass them on next time we speak.

I remember his LG victory like it was yesterday. A very good player , and one of those players that the 'flair' players often underestimated and came unstuck against. I wish him well

So do i - his victory in that tournament was so well deserved - and no fluke either; he beat Higgins & O'Sullivan on the way to the final.
