I used to rate Clive as a commentator but he talks a lot of rubbish about O'Sullivan. Yesterday he likened O'Sullivan to Tiger Woods and Roger Federer. How can you compare a loser with those winners? It is simply absurd. Even if a miracle occurs and O'Sullivan beats Carter that is 3 world tiltes in 16 attempts. It is hardly the stuff of a legend is it? Clive needs to take a reality check.

Ronnie is an amazing talent, and in my opinion a huge favourite to win today and add more World Titles to his CV. You can't compare him to guys like Federer or Woods in some senses, but in others you can.
If you compared every player in the history of cue sports on their best day ROS would be up there with the best of them, on his day he makes the sport look so easy as it's always said.
Guys like Federer, Woods, Roy Keane, Alan Shearer had the great mental strength to 'play' at an extremely high level over a very long period of time and that's what makes them legends.Alex Higgins "If I knew you were comin I'd have baked a cake, baked a cake, baked a cake"

Playwrights e.g. Shakespeare
