  • How am I doing?

    Hey guys.
It's been almost a year since I started practise every day and I'm doing kind of a summary.

My highest break from the line up practise is 93.
My highest frame break in practise is 56.
My highest frame break in competition is 24.
I make a 10+ break in almost every practise frame.
I make a 20+ break in one of (on average) 3 practise frames.
I make a 30+ break from time to time in practise frames.

I know I'm not a super talent (as there are no coaches here to improve faster) and I don't have any ambition to get in the main tour hehe. But I ask you guys, how am I doing?

    Thx for you thoughts.

Doing over 50 break in practice frame is pretty good because you haven't played that long.

    Keep on practising!

      Hi,

I have to say that it is impossible to help you very much as all I know are your highest breaks. Your line-up break is very good, keep trying for the century!, but for you to improve, try to get higher breaks in matches. To do this, practise some exercises when you need to open up the pack, and play close cannons and soft screws and when angles on the next ball are crucial. In line-up, all you need to do is play position with screw and stuns and follow throughs, the close delicate postitional shots do not come up too often, and getting the correct angle is easier than in a real match. In line up, all the pots should be very easy, it's different in matches.

      Hope this helps.

EDIT - Have a look at this, it should really help - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ircz2oF1I4g
