each player is different some retip more than others.

A player has to spend some adjustment time with a new tip. That's why the cue shouldn't be retipped so often. You shouldn't waste too much time adjusting to a new tip every week or month.

I find the glue you use to stick em on makes a big difference.Ordinary super -glue seems to soak into the tip making them harder. I re-tipped quite regular and found the super-glue gel the best stuff.

Evostik is the best to glue a tip on with, super glue soaks through your tip and will make it rock hard. If you need to use super glue because you are in a rush, after you have filed the bottom of your tip rub the tip on some cloth or your jeans etc this will make a seal in the tips fibres and help stop the super glue soaking into the tip. :snooker:
