Any English/Spanish speakers out there?

I'm looking to find out the Spanish words for the snooker terms below. Although snooker's not that that big in Spain, I suppose some of terms will come from pool and others will probably be copied straight from English.
Any help much appreciated.

Estoy intentando averiguar las palabras relacionadas con el snooker en castellano. Aunque el snooker no es gran cosa en España (o si vamos al caso, los paises sudamericanos tampoco), supongo que algunas palabras provendrán del billar y otras serán copiadas directamente del inglés. Gracias a antemano.

I'm spanish ... here are my suggestions:

to position: emplazar
to play for position: emplazarse (actually not sure of the English meaning)
to play a shot with side: realizar un tiro con efecto
to snooker someone: no translation for this one, maybe "dejar a alguien snooker"
to clear up: "limpiar la mesa" coloquial
to screw back: realizar un tiro con retroceso
a long shot: "un tiro largo" "un tiro lejano"
positioning: emplazamiento
the pack: el grupo, el paquete
top-spin: efecto de corrido
screw-back: efecto de retroceso

It's not for any reason other than my own curiousity. I play snooker in a club in Madrid and I haven't been able to explain these things. I've asked people a couple of times but I haven't written them down so I've forgotten. If I don't write these things down they go in one ear and out the other...

"Play for position" is like "intentar conseguir emplazamiento". For example "He was playing for position on the black but ended up on the pink"

That's it exactly why. La (bola) negra/rosa. Although "pink" is always feminine in Spanish because it's a wee girl's colour!!

Ah, y rosa no es femenino. Si es un sustantivo es masculino, y si es adjetivo vale para los dos:

Un coche rosa
Una bola rosa
